Love
A feeling of warm, personal attachment or deep affection.
Lost
To suffer the deprivation of: to lose one's job, to lose one's life.
"People are funny. We brush past each other everyday, barely glancing, much less saying hi. I don't think we know how much we have and how important every moment and every breath is."
These ruminative words are expressed by Dr. Michael Stephens (Christopher Logan) at the start of the movie to his good friend Jason (Duane Williamson).
Discerning and valuing the gift of life is a lesson Michael wishes was shared by many others.
As a series of events unfold, including finding love with a woman named Miriam (Ria Miller), who has a serious encounter with one of his patients (Joan Seawell), Michael has to come to grips with facing life amidst the things he cannot control.
